Welcome to my nature photography site. I am very fortunate to be a small part of this natural world. To explore, see, discover and wonder about what most pass by daily is truly an honor and a privilege.
My award winning photography is a reflection of the natural beauty, and wild areas of the Midwest and beyond. As much as I love to photograph the mountains and the west, I don't believe you must travel thousands of miles to capture nature at its finest. Therefore the majority of my images are taken east of the Rockies.
Several years ago, I began to discover and appreciate nature in "my own back yard". I found natural places -- unpopulated, free of clutter, habitats that could be explored and make me feel that I was one with nature. Thousands of miles later; I realized that one doesn't have to go that far to "see" what one is looking for.
